Home School Science
Sci-Quest invites families to participate in Home School Science, a program designed specifically with home schoolers’ needs in mind. The second Wednesday of each month, Sci-Quest educators will lead students through interactive programs on a number of exciting topics. With a different topic offered each month, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
This year, Sci-Quest is offering extended programs for middle school students. These 2-hour programs for ages 11-14 will give your child a more indepth look at each month's class topic.
Sci-Quest will also sponsor an e-cybermission team again this year; and new this year, we will sponsor a Robotics team. Last year's e-cybermission team took regional honors, and each student participating won a U.S. Savings Bond. This is an excellent opportunity for your student to compete against students from across the state and throughout the region.
For more information on each month's programming, download the Topic Descriptions in printable PDF format here.
